Michigan Virtual Market Livestock Show

Every exhibitor will receive (1) FREE T-shirt for entering!

Each Exhibitor- Maximum 2 Animals Per Species Per Exhibitor

Example: Exhibitor owning 4 beef steers and 3 swine can enter and show 2 beef steers and 2 swine.

Virtual showing will be judged on a 1 minute video.

Feedback will be provided for EVERY Exhibitor.

How To Enter:

1. Complete the Entry Form between June 1 and June 8, 2021.

2. Join the Ovid Elevator Michigan Virtual Market Livestock Show facebook group. After the entry form is received, we will place you in your designated class.

3. Each class will be posted on the facebook group page. On your designated class you will comment your video along with your name and your animals name.  Rules & Requirements + Video Tips

How To Find My Class & Post My Video:

1. ALL of the classes are posted on a Google Spreadsheet:

*On the bottom left hand side of the spreadsheet there are tabs for BEEF, SWINE, LAMBS & GOATS

2. ALL Videos will be uploaded on the facebook group page

Please only post the videos on the correct CLASS POST no later than Monday June 14 at 6:00pm. 

3. There will be a lot of classes posted. The easiest way to find your class is to search on the facebook group page. Below is a quick video on how to search for the class via phone or computer. This video also contains how to comment on the class post with your video.

*If you do not have good internet access or your video is not loading directly, you can upload the video via youtube or google and share the link with Exhibitor’s Name, Animals Name and Weight in the correct class post.

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

Absolutely! This show is intended for 2021 Fair/MLE market animals.

Prospect cattle that will be shown at a 2021 fair will be entered in a prospect class. Prospect market dairy and beef must be born between January 1-March 30, 2021.

Maket- dairy, beef, goat, and lamb classes will be split up by weight. There will be prospect, lightweight, medium, heavy weight class to insure each animal will be judged fairly.

The market swine class will be split by Crossbred Gilt, Crossbred Barrow, and Purebred.
